Established in the bustling heart of Mumbai, India, our began with a simple yet profound vision: to bridge the gap between our hardworking local farmers and the global market. Born out of a passion for showcasing the rich tapestry of Indian agriculture, we embarked on this voyage with an unwavering commitment to quality and integrity. We have cultivated strong relationships with both farmers and manufacturers, ensuring that our products reflect the finest standards of Indian agriculture.
Our Story
In 2023, inspired by a shared vision of healthier living and a passion for high-quality food products, Smeet and Vidisha Kotian founded Videet EXIM. As a couple—Smeet, a software engineer, and Vidisha, a dentist—our journey began in Mumbai, India, where we launched our export business with the ambition to connect India’s finest agricultural and processed foods with the global market. In February 2024, we became permanent residents of Canada, a milestone that marked a new chapter in our mission. We believed that establishing a physical presence in Canada would not only enhance our ability to build trust with our buyers but also enable us to effectively bridge the trade gap between India and Canada. To further streamline our trade operations, we have successfully established and registered our import company in Canada, named Smesha Enterprise.
Driven by self-learning and an unwavering dedication to our enterprise, we navigated the complex landscape of international trade, acquiring essential certifications and licenses and mastering trade protocols on our own. This journey has not only been about business growth but also about personal growth, as we continuously adapt and evolve to meet the needs of our partners and the demands of the market.
